Dale Road South - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A6 DALE ROAD SOUTH, DARLEY DALE
WHEN: 19 February to 24 February 2026 (overnight weeknight closures between 19:00 to 05:00)
WHERE: Dale Road South, Darley Dale for a distance of 1.5km between Jct. with Warney Road and Jct. with Poppy Fields Close.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: HGV Diversion Route: A6, A6020, A619, A623, A615, A6 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
