SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC Part of
Providence Place, Bridlington
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along part of Providence Place, Bridlington encompassing property no's: 89 to 101 commencing 23 February 2026
08:00 hours until 27 February 2026
17:00 hours for the purpose of laying new gas main to property no: 99 Promenade, Bridlington (gas service connects to rear of property) work. The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 5 days. The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via: Providence Place, B1254 Promenade The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The road will be closed to all through traffic, but access will be maintained for residents, emergency vehicles and pedestrians.
