What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(MOSELEY ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Moseley Road in both directions at its junction with Northycote Lane.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 9th February 2026 until 11th February 2026.
The diversion route is: Northycote Lane, Legs Lane, Underhill Lane, Cannock Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate rectifying a reinstatement defect by National Grid.
