(AUCHINSTARRY ROAD, NEAR CROY)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
On 27 January 2026 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works, and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on that section of Auchinstarry Road, near Croy between the
East Dunbartonshire Council and North Lanarkshire Council boundary at the railway viaduct and a point 30 metres or thereby to the South of Drumglass Steadings, near Croy by reason of works being executed on or near this road. This Order will operate from 06.00 hours on Sunday, 08 February 2026 until 18.00 hours on Sunday, 15 February 2026.
Alternative Routes
The alternative routes will be by way of Auchinstarry Road, Smithstone Road, the B802 Constarry Road, and Howe Road, and these routes will be sign posted.
