GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (HARESCOMBE PARISH STROUD DISTRICT)

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the lengths of roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

The reason for the said closures is for new electrical supply works.

The said roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme commencing from 2nd February 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether they are closed to through traffic. This Order can permit closure on these roads for up to 18 months from the date above. Further advance warnings of dates/times of closures will be displayed on site prior to closures taking effect. Some of the said roads will be closed overnight and others during the day. This Order may permit the said closures in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated that all of the said works will be completed by 13th February 2026, or until the works have been completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 407598 CARPENTERS ARMS TO REHOUSE LANE, WESTRIP (RANDWICK PARISH STROUD DISTRICT)

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 407598 Carpenters Arms to Rehouse Lane, Westrip from its junction with High Bank to outside the property known as “Alinor” for a distance of approximately 30 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.

The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 2nd February 2026 until 16:00hrs on 4th February 2026 only or until the said works have been completed.

Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended to temporarily close part of the 405854 Homefield from its junction with 41491 Shortwood Road to the road to Mallow Green to outside of the property known as No.1 “Homefield” for a distance of approximately 30metres.

The reason for the said closure is works by Severn Trent.

The said road is expected to be closed from 2nd February 2026 until 10th February 2026 only or until the said works have been completed.

The reason for the said closure is for bridge resurfacing works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 2nd February 2026 until 6th February 2026 only or until the said works have been completed.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 847000 Slad Road from its junction with Libby’s Drive to its junction with Painswick Old Road for a total distance of approximately 500 metres.

The reason for the closure is for tree works.

The said road is expected to be closed between the hours of 09:00hrs and 17:00hrs on the 15th February 2026 only, or until the works have been completed, whichever is later.

The road is expected to be closed for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of the National Grid.

The said road is expected to be closed on from 16th February 2026 to 17th February 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily restrict part of the C199 Bisley Old Road to prevent any stopping, loading or unloading from its junction with Margaret Hills Place to outside the property known as "No 170 Bisley Old Road", for a total distance of approximately 280 metres.

The reason for this restriction is to allow for topographical survey works.

The said road is expected to be restricted from 08:00hrs on 16th February 2026 until 16:00hrs on 17th February 2026 only or until the said works have been completed whichever is the later.
