THE BOROUGH OF WELWYN HATFIELD (VARIOUS ROADS, PEARTREE, WELWYN GARDEN CITY) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING, LOADING BAY AND PERMIT PARKING ZONES) ORDER 2026

THE BOROUGH OF WELWYN HATFIELD (VARIOUS ROADS, PEARTREE, WELWYN GARDEN CITY) (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING AND WAITING ON VERGE OR FOOTWAY) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council (pursuant to arrangements made with Hertfordshire County Council) has made the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to introduce restrictions in Various Roads, Peartree, Welwyn Garden City as specified in the Schedules to this notice. These Orders will come into effect on Monday 16 March 2026.

Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders may be inspected on our website at www.welhat.gov.uk/parking-consultations or upon appointment during normal reception opening hours at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, The Campus, Welwyn Garden City from Wednesday 28 January 2026 until Wednesday 11 March 2026. A copy can also be sent via post during this period upon request.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may within 6 weeks from the date of this notice, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
