Temporary Road Closure Order 2026
On 20 January 2026 South Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on Farmeloan Road, between M74 Overbridge and Rutherglen Links.
The Order will be in operation from 9.30am 23 March until 11.59pm 30 March 2026.
Alternative route: Farmeloan Road, Main Street, A730 Glasgow Road, Rutherglen Road, Shawfield Drive, Poplin Street, Dalmarnock Road (vice versa).
