Pinxton Lane - Temporary Road Closure

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
PINXTON LANE, SOUTH NORMANTON

WHEN: 16 February to 09 March 2026
WHERE: Pinxton Lane, South Normanton between its Jct. with the B6019 Mansfield Road for a distance of 60m in a south easterly direction.
REASON: To facilitate resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Alfreton Road, Town Street, Kirkby Lane, Pinxton Lane, Pinxton Road, B6018 Park Lane / Mansfield Road, B600 Nottingham Road / Main Road / Lower Somercotes / Somercotes Hill, B6019 Mansfield Road / Alfreton Road / The Common /
Mansfield Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
