Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA
A20 London Road, Allington (CYCLE LANE SUSPENSION) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily suspend the cycle lane on part of A20 London Road, Allington, on or after 16th February 2026 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.
The cycle lane will be suspended approximately 120 metres down from Bunyard Way. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Church Road, Offham, ME19 5PA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow cover repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Church Road, Offham, on or after 16th February 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of number 18 Church Road Cottages. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A20 London Road, Town Hill, High Street, St Leonards Street, Teston Road, Church Road and vice versa.
Common Road, Ightham, TN15 9DZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow water main connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Common Road, Ightham, on or after 17th February 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named Little Holt. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Copt Hall Road, Coach Road, Sandy Lane, Common Road and vice versa.
Court Lane, Hadlow (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow water pipe works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Court Lane, Hadlow, on or after 17th February 2026 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of former Court Lane Nurseries. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Victoria Road, Three Elm Lane, A26 Hadlow Road East, A26 Tonbridge Road, High Street, A26 The Square, A26 High Street, Court Lane and vice versa.
Foxbush, Hildenborough, TN11 9HS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow drainage improvement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Foxbush, Hildenborough, on or after 2nd February 2026 for up to 13 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between property number 3 and the junction with B245 London Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Foxbush, B245 London Road, B245 Tonbridge Road, Foxbush and vice versa.
Foxbush, Hildenborough, TN11 9HX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Foxbush, Hildenborough, on or after 16th February 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of the junction with B245 Tonbridge Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B245 Tonbridge Road, B245 London Road and vice versa.
Mill Lane, Hildenborough, TN11 9LU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow gas disconnection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mill Lane, Hildenborough, on or after 2nd February 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named Sevenacre. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Mill Lane, Underriver House Road, Shipbourne Road, Riding Lane, Vines Lane and vice versa.
Nelson Avenue, Tonbridge, TN9 1UR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Nelson Avenue, Tonbridge, on or after 2nd February 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Nelson Arms Public House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Cromer Street, Barden Road, Caistor Road and vice versa.
Old Barn Road, Leybourne, ME19 5HL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow utility asset works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Old Barn Road, Leybourne, on or after 2nd February 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with Hayfield to the junction with Lillieburn, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic. Access will be maintained where it is safe to do so.
Platt House Lane, Fairseat, TN15 7LX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Platt House Lane, Fairseat, on or after 16th February 2026 for up to 11 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with Vigo Road to the junction with Wrotham Hill Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Vigo Road, Stansted Hill, Plaxdale Green Road, Tumblefield Road, Wrotham Hill Road and vice versa.
The Street, Plaxtol, TN15 0QN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow water asset works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Street, Plaxtol, on or after 16th February 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of number 3 St Hildas. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via The Street, Long Mill Lane, Dunks Green Road, Hamptons Road, School Lane, The Street and vice versa.
Tonbridge Road, East Peckham, TN12 5JP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow electric supply installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Tonbridge Road, East Peckham, on or after 16th February 2026 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 179. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Tonbridge Road, Hatches Lane, Court Lane, Victoria Road, Three Elm Lane and vice versa.
Well Street, East Malling, ME19 6JP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow carriageway works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Well Street, East Malling, on or after 2nd February 2026 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with Stickens Lane and the junction with Pikey Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Well Street, Broadwater Road, Pikey Lane and vice versa.
Well Street, East Malling (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Well Street, East Malling, on or after 20th February 2026 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from 50 metres West of the junction with Stickens Lane, for a distance approximately 100 metres in a West direction. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Well Street, Pikey Lane, Broadwater Road, Well Street and vice versa.
