NOTICE OF MAKING OF ORDER SECTION 14 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH CL14/7, GREENHOUSE LANE, NEMPNETT THRUBWELL)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to temporarily introduce a closure to the section of Public Footpath CL14/7 commencing from a junction with Greenhouse Lane at ST51966342 and proceeding in a generally ESE direction for approx 759m to a junction with Public Footpath CL14/9 at ST52596306.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the right of way: namely the applicant is carrying out solar farm construction works. The Order will come into force on 27th January 2026 (continuing the closure that was brought into force by emergency notice on 6th January 2026) and will be effective until 6th July 2026.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Greenhouse Lane - Public Footpath CL14/9. Vice Versa.
