(B4232 West Malvern Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4232 West Malvern Rd from its junction with U63551 Park Rd to its junction with U66407 Harcourt Rd.

Reason: Utility work by Cadent.

Alternative route: B4232 West Malvern Rd (part), B4232 North Malvern Rd, A449 Worcester Rd, A449 Belle Vue Terrace, A449 Wells Rd, B4218 Wyche Rd into Herefordshire, B4232 West Malvern Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 16 February 2026.

(U63015 Old Wyche Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U63015 Old Wyche Rd from its junction with U63016 Lower Wyche Rd to its junction with U63017 Westminster Rd.

Reason: Post and rail works by WCC.

Alternative route: U63015 Old Wyche Rd (part), U63014 Wyche Common, A449 Wells Rd, U63018 Eaton Rd, U63017 Westminster Rd, and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 16 February 2026.

(U61203 Hanley Castle) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U61203 Hanley Castle from its junction with U61204 Mill Ln to its junction with B4211 Hanley Rd.

Reason: Repair to parapet by WCC.

Alternative route: B4211 Hanley Rd, A4104 Church St, A4104 High St, C2099 New St, C2099 Mill Ln and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 26 January 2026.

(C2239 Astley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2239 Astley from its junction with U64217 Dark Ln to its junction with U64216 Sandpitman.

Reason: Manhole cover replacement by STW.

Alternative route: C2239 Astley (part), B4196 Astley, U64212 Astley, C2239 Astley (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 16 February 2026.

(U61203 Gilvers Lane/U61202 Brotheridge Green Lane/ U61203 Brotheridge Green, Hanley Castle) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1 – U61203 Gilvers Lane from its junction with U61203 Roberts End for a distance of 70 metres in a north westerly direction.

Closure 2 – U61202 Brotheridge Green Lane from its junction with U61203 Gilvers Ln for a distance of 100 metres in a westerly direction.

Closure 3 – U61203 Brotheridge Green from its junction with U61203 Gilvers Ln for a distance of 250 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: Utility work by Openreach.

Alternative route: Closure 2 Local Diversion – U61203 Gilvers Ln (part), C2054 Welland, C2099 Welland, U61202 Brotheridge Green Ln (part) and vice versa.

Closure 1 & 3 Diversion – U61203 Brotheridge Green (part), U61203 Hanley Castle, B4211 Hanley Rd, A4104 High St, C2099 New St, C2099 Mill Ln, C2099 Upper Hook Rd, C2099 Hook Common, U61202 Brotheridge Green Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 16 February 2026.

(U63103 Abbey Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U63103 Abbey Rd from its junction with U63103 Priory Rd to its junction with A449 Wells Rd.

Reason: Replacement electricity cable by National Grid.

Alternative route: C2232 Grange Rd, B4211 Church St, B4211 Wells Rd, A449 Wells Rd, C2232 Abbey Rd, and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 16 February 2026.

(C2214 Gilberts End Lane, Hanley Castle) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2214 Gilberts End Lane from its junction with B4209 Hanley Castle for a distance of 375 metres in a south westerly direction.

Reason: Tree Telecom poles by BT.

Alternative route: B4209 Hanley Castle, B4209 Roberts End to B4209 Hanley Castle, B4209 Roberts End, C2054 Welland Rd, C2214 Gilberts End, C2214 Gilberts End Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 19 February 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
