Walda Drive - Temporary Traffic Prohibition
What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 20 January 2026 Wolverhampton City Council made the following Order under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order which comes into operation on the 30 January 2026 is as follows:
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (WEDNESFIELD) (WALDA DRIVE) (20 MPH SPEED
LIMIT) ORDER 2025
No person shall drive any vehicle with a maximum speed exceeding 20 miles per hour on the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule below:
Schedule
1. Walda Drive For the entirety of Walda Drive from
junction of Old Fallings Crescent.
A copy of the Order and Plan showing the parts of the roads affected may be inspected during normal office hours at the Main Reception, Civic Centre, St Peter's Square, Wolverhampton or viewed online at
http://wolverhampton.gov.uk/troperm,
or by using the QRCode below, or by emailing
Commercial.Property@wolverhampton.gov.uk.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant section of the Act or on the ground that any requirement of those sections of the Act or of Parts I to III to the Act or any regulation under the said Part III has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 20 January 2026 make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
