Proposed development at KPS Composting Site, Isfield Road, Isfield, East Sussex, TN22 5JJ
I give notice that KPS Composting Services Ltd. is applying to the County Council as Planning Authority for planning permission for the following development: Variation of condition 2 of planning permission WD/835/CM to extend the permitted operating hours to allow for weekend and bank holiday working.
Members of the public can view the application on Wealden District Council’s website, East Sussex County Council’s website, or inspect the application, plans and other documents submitted with it by appointment at the offices of the Director, Communities, Economy and Transport Department, East Sussex County Council, County Hall, St Anne’s Crescent, Lewes until the 13 February 2026. (30mph Speed Limit) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 84 (1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, which will reduce the speed limit in the following length of road;
Schedule One – 30 mph Speed Limit
C690 Camberlot Road, Upper Dicker from its junction with the C39 Coldharbour Road northwards to a point 163 metres north of the boundary between nos. 3 and 4 Crossways Cottages.
A copy of the Order which will come into effect on 26 January 2026, plan showing the length of road, the order being revoked in part and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing the Order may be inspected in Reception, East Sussex County Council, County Hall, St Anne’s Crescent, Lewes BN7 1UE on Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm and online at; https://consultation.eastsussex.gov.uk/economy-transport-environment/camberlot-road-upper-dicker-30mph-speed-limit
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act of 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Road Traffic Regulation Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks of 23 January 2026, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
To allow Southern Water to carry out works East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
The Street – from the junction with C324 Ashcombe Lane to the junction with P5672 Hyde Close.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 23 January 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 23 and 24 January 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.

To allow UKPN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Cinder Hill – from the junction with A275 Chailey Green Road to the junction with C651 Oxbottom Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C651 Oxbottom Lane – A272 Station Road – A275 East Grinstead Road, Chailey Green Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 28 January 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 28 January 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.

To allow Openreach to carry out works East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Fletching Lane – from the junction with C321 Lane End Common to the junction with C321 Newick Hill.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C321 Newick Hill – A272 Western Road, Station Road – A275 East Grinstead Road – C321 Lane End Common and vice versa. The Order commences 26 January 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 26 and 27 January 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.

West End – from the junction with A271 Hailsham Road to the junction with C344 Stunts Green.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C344 Stunts Green – C15 Cowbeech Hill, Featherbed Lane – A271 Amberstone, New Road, Hailsham Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 26 January 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 26 and 28 January 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.

To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Eastbourne Road – from the junction with B2192 Lewes Road to the junction with U7403 Bradfords Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via B2192 Lewes Road, Terrible Down Road, The Broyle, Lewes Road, Ringmer Road – A26 Malling Down, Malling Hill, Malling Street, Cuilfail Tunnel roundabout, Malling Street, Malling Hill, Malling Down, Uckfield Road, Rose Hill, Lewes Road – A22 Little Horsted roundabout, Uckfield bypass & vice versa.
The Order commences 26 January 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 26 and 28 January 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.

To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
High Street/North End/Common Lane – from the junction with B2116 Lewes Road to the junction with C71 Folders Lane East.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via B2112 Ditchling Road – B2112 Fox Hill (WSX) – A272 Fox Hill roundabout (WSX), Rocky Lane (WSX), The Birch Hotel roundabout (WSX), Lewes Road (WSX) – A272 Lewes Road, Haywards Heath Road – A275 East Grinstead Road, Chailey Green Road, South Street, South Road, Resting Oak Hill, Cooksbridge Road – B2116 Ditchling Road, Lewes Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 28 January 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 28 and 30 January 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.

The Order commences 9 February 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 9 and 13 February 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.
