(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Willow Lane, Great Houghton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Willow Lane, Great Houghton from the junction of Willow Crescent to 24 Willow Lane.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during vegetation and tree removal from structure.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 9th February 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Billing Brook Road, Northampton from Standens Barn to Spanslade Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 6th February 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Cliftonville, Northampton from entrance to Sunnyside south to entrance to Spring Hill House.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during demolition and construction works.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs.
