(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2026 NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close, temporarily prohibit waiting at any time and temporarily introduce a 20MPH speed limit throughout the whole length (unless otherwise stated) of the flowing roads in Mid Sussex District:

ALBOURNE: Shaves Wood Lane/Trusslers Hill Lane.

BALCOMBE: Borde Hill Lane/Haywards Heath Road from Copyhold Lane to London Road, Crawley Lane, High Beeches Lane/High Street, London Road/Balcombe Road from Cherry Lane to the B2110, Paddockhurst Road/Church Road from the B2036 to Selsfield Road.

BOLNEY: A272 from Wineham Lane to Kent Street.

BURGESS HILL: Avonhurst, Crescent Road from Mill Road to Crescent Close, Cyprus Road, Ferndale Road, Folders

Lane, Gladstone Road, Glendale Road, Grove Road from Mill

Road eastwards for 60M, Highlands Drive, Inholmes Close,

Inholmes Park Road/Marlborough Drive, Isaacs Lane (A273),

Dunnings Road from Streatfield Road to the county boundary,

HAYWARDS HEATH: Boltro Road from Oaklands Road to Market Place. HORSTED KEYNES: Birchgrove Road from Bonfire Lane to the county boundary.

HURSTPIERPOINT & SAYERS COMMON: Cuckfield Road from High Street to Gatehouse Lane, Danworth Lane/High Hatch Lane from

Chalkers Lane to Gatehouse Lane, Gatehouse Lane, Malthouse

Lane from Chalkers Lane to the A273, Pomper Lane from

Cuckfield Road to Danworth Lane. WORTH: Hophurst Lane/ Hophurst Hill/Fellbridge Road/Crawley Down Road from Sandy Lane to Rowplatt Lane.

These restrictions are needed to allow road maintenance works to be carried out in safety. The works are expected to take up to three days and dates for works will be confirmed in advance locally nearer the time they are carried out.

The Order will come into effect on 2 February 2026 and remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed programme of works is completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Horsted Keynes: Cinder Hill Lane)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Cinder Hill Lane in Horsted Keynes from its junction with Station Road northwards to its junction with Station Approach.

The road closure is needed to allow drainage improvement works to be carried out safely.

The Order will operate between 0930 hours and 1500 hours each day during the works and come into effect from 11 February 2026 until 20 February 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Haywards Heath, Cuckfield and Ansty & Staplefield: Hanlye Lane) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Hanlye Lane throughout its entire length in the parishes of Haywards Heath, Cuckfleid and Ansty & Staplefield. The road closure is needed to maintain safety while works are carried out to install a road safety improvement scheme. The Order will come into effect on 26 January 2026 and remain in force until 20 February 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.
