Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
D4426 CAMPION ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Lillington Road and Villiers Street.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 26 January 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 28 January 2026.
Access & Diversion: Lillington Road, Villiers Street and vice versa. Access/ egress to/from Campion Green, Hazel Close and Jasmine Grove may be restricted whilst works are in progress. Access/egress to/from Waller Street, Granville Street, Brownlow Street will be via Wathen Road whilst works are in progress.

Anticipated Completion: 31 January 2026.
Access & Diversion: A452 Europa Way, Tachbrook Park Drive, Apollo Way and vice versa.

Reason for Order: To safely enable works for replacement of joint box cover and frame.

Anticipated Completion: 25 January 2026.
Access & Diversion: Willes Road, Warwick Street, Dale Street, Adelaide Road, Avenue Road, Park Drive, Princes Drive, Myton Road, Old Warwick Road, High Street, Radford Road and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with A445 Rugby Road/Lillington Avenue Roundabout and Beauchamp Avenue. Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-17.00hrs.
Order Commences: 25 January 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 25 January 2026.
Access & Diversion: A445 Lillington Avenue, Kenilworth Road, Clarendon Avenue, A452 Clarendon Square and vice versa.

CUBBINGTON ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA (ACCESS ROAD)
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from a point opposite to Lillington Free Church to a point opposite to the junction of South View Road.
Please note-the closures will be phased.
Reason for Order: To safely enable electricity network reinforcement.
Order Commences: 9 February 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 17 March 2026.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable the repair or replacement of a manhole frame and cover near 1 Church Terrace.
Order Commences: 13 February 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 13 February 2026.
Access & Diversion: Church Terrace, Mill Street, Priory Terrace, Church Street and vice versa.

SCOTT ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic from junction with Waverley Road to Alexander Road.
Reason for Order: To safely enable the installation of a new water pipe.
Order Commences: 10 February 2026 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 12 February 2026. Access & Diversion: Scott Road, Waverley Road, Alexandra Road and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

MODIFICATION TO ADVERTISED PROPOSALS
THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES’ TRAFFIC ORDERS (PROCEDURE)
(ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 1996
Warwickshire County Council has modified the proposals advertised in its Public Notice dated 12 September 2025, relating to the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to vary the existing “The Warwickshire County Council (Various Roads, Leamington Spa) (20 mph Speed Limit) Order 2025”.
The modifications to the proposals are as described in the Schedule 1 below. All other proposals remain as per the 12 September 2025 Public Notice.
A copy of the proposed Order, together with a copy of the Order to be varied, with an updated plan showing the affected roads and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick during usual opening hours, or online at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20210/warwick-district
