NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made the above-named Order under Sections 81 to 84 and Part III and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order, which will come into force on the 26th January 2026 will be to introduce a 30 miles per hour speed restriction on the following lengths of highways in the County of Northumberland:

Exemptions are included in the Order for police, fire and rescue, ambulance and special forces purposes.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any of the provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made apply to the High Court for that purpose.
