What is happening?
Borough of Telford & Wrekin
The Council has made the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Avon Dale Newport (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst gas mains replacement works are being undertaken. The order becomes operational from the 26/1/26. The following road is affected Avon Dale, Newport from its jcn with Forton Rd to its jcn with Strine Way. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 6/2/26.
Alternative routes will be signed on site.
