Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 22 January 2026:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH 014 MOULSOE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2293)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit any access to and along the following Footpaths.
2nd February 2026 – 2nd August 2026
Footpath 14 Moulsoe – from its junction with Newport Pagnell Football Club for approximately 865 meters.
Whilst the above footpath is closed there will be no alternative route.
In the interest of public safety and to enable construction of main infrastructure, earthworks and utilities installations/diversions as part of residential development.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (SILVER STREET, NEWPORT PAGNELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2295)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close that part of the following road to allow Openreach to access the overhead cabling network to carry out maintenance works.
4th February 2026 – (Between 9:30am and 3:00pm)
Silver Street, Newport Pagnell – From its junction with St Johns Street to its junction with the rear car park behind Muratis Pizzeria.
Whilst that part of the road is closed the alternative route will be via Silver Street, Caldecotte Street, Station Road, High Street (Vice Versa).

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS AND REDWAY IN WOBURN SANDS, WOLVERTON, BRADWELL AND OLNEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2282)
The effect of the above-named Order will be temporarily close the following lengths of roads and Redways to enable Anglian Water to undertake maintenance works within the carriageway:
4th February 2026 (Between 9:00am and 4:00pm)
Anson Road rear access road – Outside number 7
Whist the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Aylesbury Street West, Anson Road,
20th February 2026 (Between 9:00am and 4:00pm)
Deethe Close, Woburn Sands – Outside Number 7.
Whist the above closure is in effect, access will be maintained.
23rd February 2026 – 25th February 2026 (24 Hours)
Downham Road Woburn Sands – Outside Number 23.
Whist the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Downham Road, Aspley Hill, High Street (and vice versa).
23rd February 2026 – 25th February 2026 (Between 12:00pm and 4:00pm)
Redway BW01 Bradwell – Outside number 6.
Whist the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Bradwell BW14, Redway BW04, Redway BW05, Redway BW07, Redway BW01 (and vice versa).
9th February 2026 – 11th February 2026 (24 Hours)
West Street Olney – Between Numbers 3 and 37.
Whist the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via West Street, High Street and Spring Lane (and vice versa).
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 20 January 2026, made the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BRIDLEWAY 009 SHENLEY BROOK END, TATTENHOE PARK) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2344)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles, pedestrians and horses from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of bridleway to facilitate Bellway carrying out construction works nearby: -
For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle, horse or pedestrian to enter, wait in or proceed along the following length of bridleway between 23rd January 2026 and 22nd July 2026: -
Bridleway 009 Shenley Brook End, Tattenhoe Park – From a point level with Verne Grove for 210 metres in a southerly direction.
Whilst the above length of bridleway is closed the alternative route will be via Bridleway running parralel to Bridleway 009 (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (SAXON STREET (PART), NETHERFIELD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2297)
This order is to allow Cornerstone Communications to undertake a Telecoms pole swap safely.
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following length of road:
26th – 29th January 2026 (09:30 – 16:30)
Saxon Street, Netherfield – from its junction with Barnfield Drive to its junction with Groveway.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Standing Way, Grafton Street and Groveway (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (OLNEY ROAD LAVENDON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2286)
in order to enable cadent to carryout gas mains replacement works from 26 January 2026 – 13 February 2026.
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close part of:
Olney Road Lavendon – from its junction with White Canons Drive to its junction with Rectory Orchard.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Olney Road, B565 and A428 (and vice versa).
Pedestrian access will be maintained whilst the closure is in place.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MASLIN DRIVE (PART), BEANHILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2315)
This order is to allow SGN to undertake works to replace gas mains in the area safely.
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following length of road:
26th January – 20th February 2026 (24 hours)
Maslin Drive, Beanhill – from its junction with Wastel to its junction with Simnel.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route however access for residents and services will be provided.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (OLD WOLVERTON ROAD (PART), OLD WOLVERTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2301)
This order is to allow Network Rail to undertake works to fell large trees and perform bridge enhancements safely.
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following length of road on the prescribed dates and times:
• 31st January – 1st February 2026 = Overnight 9pm – 6am
• 2nd February – 6th February 2026 = 09:30am – 4:30pm
• 7th February – 8th February 2026 = Overnight 9pm – 6am
Old Wolverton Road, Old Wolverton – from its junction with Haversham Roundabout to its junction with Wolverton Park Road.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Haversham Road and Stratford Road (and vice versa).

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WEST STREET (PART), OLNEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2292)
In order to enable Hennigan Building and Civil Engineering Ltd to carry out drainage pipe installation.
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close part of:
26 January 2026 – 5 February 2026 (24 Hours)
West Street, Olney – from its junction with Long Lane to its junction with Dinglederry.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via West Street, Spring Lane, High Street, West Street (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MARLBOROUGH STREET V7 TO H3) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2311)
the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road to facilitate Vodafone to carryout pole swap works -
Marlborough Street V7 to H3 – From its junction with Malins gate for approximately 47 meters Southbound.
Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route will be via Marlborough Street, Saxon Street and Monks Way.
The above closure will take place on 29th January 2026 – 30th January 2026 (9:30am -4:30pm).
Warning signs will be erected several days in advance to inform the public of the forthcoming closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 20th January 2026 made the above Traffic Regulation Order, under Sections 1(1), 2(1) and (2), 4(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Order.

The general effect of the above proposed Order will be to introduce no waiting at any time restrictions (double yellow lines) along parts of Lancliffe Drive and Aldergill in Heelands (as proposed on 27th November 2025).
The made Order will take effect on 23rd January 2026.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 20th January 2026 made the above Traffic Regulation Order, under Sections 84(1), (2) and (3) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Order.
The general effect of the above proposed Order will be to introduce a 40mph speed restriction along that part of Calverton Lane between Watling Street (V4) and Upper Weald (as proposed on 20th November 2025).
The made Order will take effect on 23rd January 2026.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 20th January 2026 made the above Traffic Regulation Order, under Sections 1(1) and 2(1) to (3) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Order.
The general effect of the above proposed Order will be to introduce prohibition of u-turn manoeuvres on Marlborough Street at its junctions with Barnfield Drive, Netherfield; Aldenham, Tinkers Bridge; Buckland Drive, Netherfield and Passmore, Milton Keynes (as proposed on 27th November 2025).
The made Order will take effect on 23rd January 2026.

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (THE UNNAMMED ROAD PARALLEL TO A421 STANDING WAY) (PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 20th January 2026 made the above Traffic Regulation Order, under Sections 1(1) and 2(1) to (3) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Order.
The general effect of the above proposed Order will be to amend the existing prohibition of motor vehicles restriction on the unnamed road that runs parallel to A421 Standing Way, between Whaddon Road and B4034 Buckingham Road to enable a new access road for the ‘Salden Place’ development (as proposed on 18th December 2025).
The made Order will take effect on 23rd January 2026.
