THE FIFE COUNCIL (B9157, KIRKCALDY)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2026
Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 –
(i) prohibiting the use by vehicular traffic on B9157 from jct. Peebles St westerly for approx. 2km.
(ii) prohibiting the waiting and loading of vehicles on B9157 from jct. Peebles St westerly for approx. 2km.
The Order is to allow carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out in safety and will be operational from 02/02/2026 to 13/02/2026 or until earlier completion of the works. The alternative route for through traffic will be via A921, B923, A909 and B9157. Access for emergency service vehicles, residents’ vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained. Works will progress in phases to maintain access to residents.
