Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

Traffic Order 2026 – Flagship Park development,
Edgerley Drain Road Ref: 26-266
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the roads, footways and cyclepaths detailed in the schedule below.

The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above roads. The alternative routes for vehicles affected by this order are detailed in the schedule. The proposed order will come into force on the 26/01/2026 and will continue until the vegetation works have been completed or until the 25/01/2027, whichever is the earlier. Traffic Order – Seymour Place 2026 Ref: 26-260
The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Seymour Place, footpath to the side of 31. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this Order is: Paston Ridings, Crabtree, Seymour Place and vice versa. The Order will come into operation on the 29/01/2026 and will continue until the telecoms works have been completed or until the 28/07/2026, whichever is the earlier. Traffic Order 2026 – Mill Road, Maxey Ref: 26-252
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Mill Road, Maxey, as lies between Friary Gardens and side of 25 Castle End Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Castle End Road, High Street and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 26/01/2026 and will continue until the excavation and duct installation works have been completed or until the 25/01/2027, whichever is the earlier. Traffic Order – Old London Road 2026 Ref: 26-253
The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Old London Road, as lies between Waterhouse Way and opposite Hampton Avenue. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this Order is: London Road. The Order will come into operation on the 26/01/2026 and will continue until the remedial reinstatement works have been completed or until the 25/07/2026, whichever is the earlier. Traffic Order – Orton Longueville Cyclepaths 2026 Ref: 26-255 The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Orton Longueville Cyclepaths, as lies between Botolph Green and Gretton Close. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this Order is: Gretton Close, footpath between Gretton Close and Orton Longueville Cyclepaths, Orton Longueville Cyclepaths, Botolph Green and vice versa. The Order will come into operation on the 26/01/2026 and will continue until the resurfacing works have been completed or until the 25/07/2026, whichever is the earlier. Traffic Order 2026 – Mayors Walk Ref: 26-270
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Mayors Walk, as lies between Aldermans Drive and a point 50m east. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: A15, A1179, Thorpe Road, Thorpe Park Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 02/02/2026 and will continue until the remedial works have been completed or until the 01/02/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 02/02/2026 and the 04/02/2026. Traffic Order 2026 – Uffington Road Barnack Ref: 26-269
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Uffington Road Barnack as lies between points 20 metres either side of Uffington Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: via Uffington Road, A1175 Main Rd, Tallington Rd, B1443 Barnack Rd, Station Rd, Bainton Rd and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 31/01/2026 and will continue until the railway level crossing surface renewal works have been completed or until the 30/01/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 21:00 - 12:00 from 31/01/2026 - 01/02/2026, and between 21:00 - 06:00 from 01/02/2026 - 02/02/2026. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Woodcroft Road, Etton as lies between points 20 metres either side of Woodcroft Road Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: via Woodcroft Rd, Helpston Rd, Glinton Rd, West St, King St, Stamford Rd, and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 31/01/2026 and will continue until the railway level crossing emergency maintenance works have been completed or until the 30/01/2027, whichever is the earlier. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as The Reaches, for approx. 300m from its junction with A47. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: A47, Crowland Road, Bukehorn Road, The Reaches and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 04/02/2026 and will continue until the vegetation works have been completed or until the 03/02/2027, whichever is the earlier.
