What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Marishes Lane, Yedingham, Order 2026, No. 4

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Marishes Lane, Yedingham for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 26/01/26 & 06/02/26, due to telecoms works to excavate & install duct in a road crossing & underground chambers. However, the max duration of this Order is until 26/07/26 in case of any unforeseen delays. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Great Barugh to Acres Bridge, Great Barugh, Order 2026, No. 22

We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Great Barugh to Acres Bridge, Great Barugh for a temporary period of 1 week (subject to access to premises) between 09/02/26 & 27/03/26, due to bridge parapet repair works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Newsham Lane, Little Habton for a temporary period of 2 weeks (subject to access to premises) between 09/02/26 & 31/03/26, due to bridge parapet repair works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Highfield Road, Malton, Order 2026, No. 26

We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Highfield Road, Malton for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 13/02/26 & 26/02/26, due to Large new connect works requiring excavation to locate cable including 40m of trench in footway, Joint new cable & reinstate excavations to alter supply. However, the max duration of this Order is until 13/02/27. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate.
