What is happening?
BRACKNELL FOREST COUNCIL
TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES
SOPWITH ROAD, WARFIELD
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 90C of the Highways Act 1980 that Bracknell Forest Borough Council proposes to install traffic calming measures on Sopwith Road, Warfield. The measures are as follows: -
Speed cushions in pairs on the carriageway in the following locations:
154 metres north of its roundabout junction with Harvest Ride.
118 metres south of its roundabout junction with Ellison Road.
208 metres south of its roundabout junction with Ellison Road.
The speed cushions will be approximately 75mm high, 3.7m in length and 1.8m in width.
All distances stated are approximate and measured to the centre of the cushion and stated junction.

Objections:
Objections to the proposals, together with the grounds upon which they are made, should be sent in writing to Neil Mathews, Assistant Director – Highways & Transport, Bracknell Forest Council, Time Square, Market Street, Bracknell, Berkshire RG12 1JD or via e-mail highways.transport@bracknell-forest.gov.uk to be received by him no later than the 11th February 2026.
