What is happening?

wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984. Mae angen y Gorchymyn arfaethedig er mwyn gwneud  gwaith ar gefnffordd yr A483, neu gerllaw iddi, ym Meulah, Powys.

Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd gwahardd dros dro bob cerbyd, ac eithrio’r rhai a ddefnyddir gan y gwasanaethau brys neu ar gyfer y gwaith, rhag mynd ar y darn o’r gefnffordd sy’n ymestyn tua’r gorllewin o’i chyffordd â’r mynediad i Fferm Maesllech hyd at bwynt 250 o fetrau i’r gogledd-ddwyrain o’i chyffordd â’r ffordd fynediad i Lwyngwilym ym Mhowys.

Y llwybr arall ar gyfer gyrwyr sy’n dymuno teithio tua’r dwyrain o ben gorllewinol y darn o’r ffordd sydd ar gau yw mynd ar yr A483 tua’r de-orllewin i Lanymddyfri, yr A40 tua’r dwyrain i Aberhonddu, yr A470 tua’r gogledd i Lanfair-ym-Muallt a thua’r gorllewin ar yr A483 i ben
dwyreiniol y darn o’r ffordd sydd ar gau.
Y llwybr arall i yrwyr sy’n dymuno teithio tua’r gorllewin o bwynt dwyreiniol y darn o’r ffordd sydd ar gau fydd i’r gwrthwyneb.
Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 26 Ionawr 2026. Disgwylir y bydd y gwaharddiadau dros dro yn weithredol yn ysbeidiol rhwng 19:00 o’r gloch ar 26 Ionawr 2026 a 07:00 o’r gloch ar 2 Chwefror 2026 neu hyd nes y caiff yr arwyddion traffig dros dro eu symud ymaith yn barhaol.
Dim ond yn ystod y cyfnod a bennir uchod y disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn fod yn weithredol.
Er hynny, bydd yn parhau’n ddilys am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf rhag ofn y bydd angen ailamserlennu’r gwaith neu wneud gwaith canlyniadol neu waith arall. Bydd hysbysiad am unrhyw newidiadau i’r
amseroedd a’r dyddiadau yn cael ei roi cyn gwneud unrhyw waith a ailamserlennir.

THE A483 TRUNK ROAD (BEULAH, POWYS) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2025
THE WELSH MINISTERS have made an Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary to undertake works on or near the A483 trunk road at Beulah, in Powys.

The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicles, other than those being used by the emergency services or for the works, from proceeding on the length of the trunk road that extends in a westerly direction from its junction with the access to Maesllech Farm to a point 250 metres northeast of its junction with the access road to Llwyngwilym, in Powys.

The alternative route for drivers wishing to travel east from the western extent of the closure is via the A483 south westbound to Llandovery, the A40 eastbound to Brecon, the A470 northbound to Builth Wells, and westbound on the A483 to the eastern extent of the closure.
The alternative route for drivers wishing to travel west from the eastern
point of closure will be vice versa.

The Order will come into force on 26 January 2026. The temporary prohibitions are expected to be carried out intermittently from 19:00 hours on the 26 January 2026 to 07:00 hours on the 2 February 2026 or until the temporary traffic signs are permanently removed.
Although the Order is only expected to be in force during the period specified above it will remain valid for a maximum period of 18 months, as a contingency, should the work need to be rescheduled, or consequential or other work is required. Notice of any changes to times and dates will be given before any rescheduled work begins.
