Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

I) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

TASBURGH –

A) U76128 Church Hill from its junction with C514 Church Road for 110m westwards and

B) U76128 Church Hill from 110m west of its junction with C514 Church Road to its junction with U76001 Low Road to facilitate drainage works.

The Road A will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) and Road B shall be temporarily subject to suspension of the one-way system (eastbound) to allow vehicles to travel in both an easterly and westerly direction from 26th to 30th January 2026 (may continue until 13th March 2026).

WYMONDHAM – On C700 Market Street the two westernmost parking bays opposite Savers to facilitate UK Power Network cabling works.

Traffic over these parking bays shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload from 27th to 30th January 2026 (may continue until 13th March 2026).

WYMONDHAM & SPOONER ROW – B1172 Station Road from its junction with B1172 London Road for 180 metres eastwards to facilitate National Highways lighting works between 20:00 and 06:00 from 26th January to 16th February 2026 (may continue until 16th August 2026).

GORLESTON-ON-SEA & GREAT YARMOUTH – Middleton Road (southbound only) from its junction with the B1370 Roundabout to its junction with the A47 Roundabout (“Road A”) and various side roads off Middleton Road as follows:

  1. Middleton Gardens, Stradbroke Road, Suffield Road, Albemarle Road, Elm Grove Road and Popular Avenue (the “Side Roads”);

  2. Middleton Gardens, Stradbroke Road, Suffield Road, Albemarle Road, Elm Avenue, Elm Grove Road and Popular Avenue (the “Left Turn Restriction Roads”);

  3. Pound Lane, Connaught Avenue, Gloucester Avenue, Peter House Avenue, St Catherines Way and Western Road (the “Right Turn Restriction Roads”).

The Road A will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) and each of the Side Roads will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) from the side roads’ junction with Middleton Road for 20 metres eastwards.

  • The Left Turn Restriction Roads shall be subject to the imposition of a no left turn restriction from any of the listed roads onto Middleton Road.

  • The Right Turn Restriction Roads shall be subject to the imposition of a no right turn restriction from any of the listed roads onto Middleton Road.

These restrictions are to facilitate cycle lane construction works and will be in place from 17th January to 18th February 2026 (may continue until 18th August 2026).

Nothing in this Order affects turning left from Elm Avenue onto Middleton Road.
