Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
Ash Road, Ash, TN15 7HN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of resurfacing works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ash Road, Ash, on or after 26th January 2026 for up to 1 night between 19.00hrs and 05.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Oast House.
The alternative route is via Ash Road, Hartley Road, B260 Main Road, B260 Longfield Road, A227 Wrotham Road, A227 Gravesend Road, A20 London Road, Ash Lane, South Ash Road, The Street, Ash Road and vice versa.
Camp Hill, Chiddingstone Causeway, TN11 8LD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Camp Hill, Chiddingstone Causeway, on or after 9th February 2026 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between B2027 Tonbridge Road and Charcott.
The alternative route is via Camp Hill, B2027 Tonbridge Road/Penshurst Road/High Street/Hildenborough Road/Stocks Green Road, Rings Hill, Philpots Lane, Coppings Road and vice versa.
Clare Way, Hurst Way, Lea Road & Stafford Way, Sevenoaks, TN13 1PQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of footway reconstruction works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Clare Way, Hurst Way, Lea Road and Stafford Way, Sevenoaks, on or after 9th February 2026 for up to 47 days or until the works have been completed.
The roads will be closed for their entire lengths.
There are no alternative routes but access will be given when safe to do so.
Hever Road, Hever, TN8 7NL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of the installation of a new electricity supply, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hever Road, Hever, on or after 26th January 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Hever Hotel.
The alternative route is via Hever Road, B2027 Chequers Hill, B2027 Clinton Lane, B2027 Bough Beech Road, B2027 Four Elms Road, B2026 Station Road, B2026 Mont St Aignan Way, B2026 High Street, Hever Road and vice versa.
Lockskinners, Chiddingstone, TN8 7NA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of drainage cleansing, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lockskinners, Chiddingstone, on or after 13th February 2026 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Granary Cottage.
The alternative route is via Wilderness Lane, Cowden Pound Road To Truggers Lane, Truggers Lane, Hoath Corner, Ryewell Hill, Wellers Town Road, Hampkins Hill Road, The Village and vice versa.
Main Road, Knockholt, TN14 7NU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of the installation of a new electricity supply, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Main Road, Knockholt, on or after 11th February 2026 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Mountross Farm and Mount Cottage.
The alternative route is via Main Road, Cudham Lane South, Cudham Lane North, A21 Sevenoaks Road, Rushmore Hill, Main Road and vice versa.
Morleys Road, Sevenoaks Weald, TN14 6QR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of tree maintenance works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Morleys Road, Sevenoaks Weald, on or after 27th January 2026 for up to 1 day between 09.00hrs and 16.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed 20m either side of the railway bridge.
The alternative route is via Morleys Road - Glebe Road - Hubbards Hill - Weald Road - Tonbridge Road/A225 - Riverhill/A225 - Morleys Roundabout - Morleys Road and vice versa.
Oak Lane, Sevenoaks, TN13 2PE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Oak Lane, Sevenoaks, on or after 9th February 2026 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed near number 14.
The alternative route is via Oak Lane, Grassy Lane, Hopgarden Lane, Ashgrove Road and vice versa.
Windmill Road, Sevenoaks Weald, TN14 6PD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Windmill Road, Sevenoaks Weald, on or after 9th February 2026 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Glebe Road and Mount Pleasant Road.
The alternative route is via Glebe Road, Church Road, Windmill Road and vice versa.
