Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(U63015 Old Wyche Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) and the County of Hereford and Worcester
(Old Wyche Road, Malvern Wells) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1996 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2026
Order made: To close that part of U63015 Old Wyche Rd from its junction with Gordon Terrace (NSG ref 240468060) to its junction with U63017 Westminster Rd and to temporarily suspend the County of Hereford and Worcester (Old Wyche Road, Malvern Wells) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1996 to allow two-way traffic to enable access for residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.
Reason: Utility work by STW.
Alternative route: B4218 Wyche Rd, U63016 Lower Wyche Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.
Commencing: 19 January 2026.
(U61209 Wheatley Lane, Upton Upon Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Proposed Order: To close that part of U61209 Wheatley Ln from its junction with A4104 Welland Rd to its junction with B4211 Gloucester Rd.
Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.
Alternative route: B4211 Gloucester Rd, A4104 Welland Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 9 February 2026 and 20 February 2026.
(C2107 Ryall Grove, Upton upon Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2107 Ryall Grove from its junction with A38 Tewkesbury Rd to its junction with U46404 Wheatley Farm Rd.
Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing over multiple phases by WCC.
Alternative route: A38 Tewkesbury Rd, A4104 Pershore Rd, A4104 Baynham, A4104 Woodmancote, C2104 Bourne Rd, C2107 Thresham Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 9 February 2026 and 20 February 2026.
(U61605 Hangmans Lane, Hanley Castle) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Proposed Order: To close that part of U61605 Hangmans Ln from its junction with U61606 Hayler’s End for a distance of 130 metres in a north easterly direction.
Reason: Utility work being undertaken by STW.
Alternative route: U61605 Hayler’s End, C2054 Blackmore End, C2163 Gilberts End, U61607 Sink Ln, U61605 Hangmans Ln (part) and vice versa.
(U61204 Mill Lane, Hanley Castle) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Proposed Order: To close that part of U61204 Mill Ln from its junction with U61203 Brotheridge Green Ln to its junction with C2099 Upper Hook Rd.
Reason: Replacement telegraph pole by Openreach.
Alternative route: U61203 Brotheridge Green Ln, U61203 Hanley Castle, B4211 Hanley Rd, A4104 Church St, A4104 High St, C2099 New St, C2099 Mill Ln, U61204 Mill Ln (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.
Commencing: 11 February 2026.
(B4211 Worcester Road, Hanley Castle) (Layby only) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Proposed Order: To close that part of the Layby on B4211 Worcester Rd from its junction with B4211 Worcester Rd for its entire length.
Reason: Landing site for surface dressing chippings by WCC.
Alternative route: No alternative route – Layby only.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 234 days (24hrs).
Commencing: 9 February 2026.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
