ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT,
1984 SECTION 14, AS AMENDED
THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING
VARIOUS LOCATIONS
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install electric vehicle parking bays and charging points they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in the roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in the sections of road listed in column 2 of the Schedule to this Notice.
3. The Order will come into operation on the 19 January 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 06 February 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle involved in carrying out the said works,
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH 30
(SITUATED BETWEEN BOURNE VIEW AND LONGWOOD ROAD, KENLEY)
EXTENSION TO CLOSURE OF THE FOOTPATH LEVEL CROSSING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that the Secretary of State has issued a direction under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to extend the above prohibition to facilitate the installation of additional safety measures.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall proceed along the section of Public Footpath No.30 which extends across the level crossing.
3. During the closure, the alternative route for pedestrians will be via Valley Road (towards Kenley Station), across the railway line via Hayes Lane road-over-rail bridge, and south on the A22, Godstone Road.
4. The duration of the Order, which originally came into operation on 11 August 2025 and was due to expire on 11 February 2026, will be extended until 11 August 2026. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order shall apply to anyone carrying out the said work, or to anything done for police, ambulance, or fire brigade purposes or with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

CARGREEN ROAD, SOUTH NORWOOD
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer connection works they have made an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Cargreen Road, South Norwood.
2. During the works, Cargreen Road will be closed between its junction with Lawrence Road and the common boundary of No. 12 Cargreen Road and No. 29 Lawrence Road.
3. Whilst the restrictions are in force the diversion route for traffic will be via Lawrence Road, Selhurst Road and vice versa, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 15 January 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within approximately twelve days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in conducting the said work,
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CENTRAL PARADE, NEW ADDINGTON
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate drainage works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Central Parade (fronting property Nos. 1 to 17):
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Central Parade will be closed between its junction with Salcot Crescent and the common boundary of Nos. 17 and 18 Central Parade.
b) Parking in the inset parking bays outside Nos. 1 to 5, 7 to 10 and 11 to 15 Central Parade will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions operating “at any time” will be applied.
3. During the closure, the diversion route for traffic will be via Central Parade, Parkway and vice versa. Access will be maintained for deliveries to businesses.
4. The Order will come into operation on 19 January 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 23 January 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate cable installation works by UKPN, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular and equestrian traffic movements and parking in the roads shown in the Schedule to this notice.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place the roads/sections of roads listed in the Schedule to this notice will be closed and/or have restrictions applied prohibiting parking and loading on the dates shown.
3. During the closures the alternative routes for traffic will be as detailed below:
Pawsons Road junction with Queens Road closure
• Northbound – Via Whitehorse Road, High Street, Brigstock Road, London Road, Bensham Lane, Queens Road.
• Southbound – Via Queens Road, Windmill Road, Whitehorse Road
Pawsons Road junction with Whitehorse Road closure
• Northbound – Via Whitehorse Road, High Street, Brigstock Road, London Road, Bensham Lane, Queens Road.
• Southbound – Via Queens Road, Windmill Road, Whitehorse Road
Saxon Road closure
• Northbound – Via Whitehorse Road, Pawsons Road, Queens Road, Windmill Road, Northcote Road, Dagnall Park.
• Southbound – Via Whitehorse Road, Northcote Road, Dagnall Park.
Woodvale Avenue closure
• Northbound – Via South Norwood Hill, Church Road, Sylvan Hill, Auckland Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 15 January 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed as shown in the Schedule to this notice. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
