What is happening?

PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (CHESTNUT AVENUE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, PARKING, WAITING, LOADING & UNLOADING) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), intend to make an Order the effect of which is:

1. To prohibit the driving, parking, waiting, loading & unloading of vehicles in:

• Chestnut Avenue - for its entirety

The prohibition of driving, parking, waiting, loading & unloading be in operation on the days and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs are displayed. The Order shall come into force on 19th February 2026 and shall continue in force for a maximum of 18 months

It is anticipated that the pole renewal works will commence on the 19th February 2026 until 20th February 2026 9:30 - 15:30
