Lea Road - Removal of Road Humps and Introduction of Junction Table
What is happening?
NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(BUTTERFLY AVENUE, AND LEA ROAD, PRESTON, PRESTON CITY) (ROAD HUMPS)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980, Lancashire County Council propose the following:
1) Remove road humps in Lea Road, Preston, from a point 17 metres south east of its junction with the centreline of Butterfly Avenue.
2) Introduce a junction table in the following locations:
a) Lea Road, Preston, from the intersection of the centreline of Butterfly Avenue and Lea Road for a distance of 15 metres in a northerly direction;
b) Lea Road, Preston from the intersection of the centreline of Butterfly Avenue and Lea Road for a distance of 17 metres in a southerly direction;
c) Butterfly Avenue, Preston, from the intersection of the centreline of Butterfly Avenue and Lea Road for a distance of 15 metres in a westerly direction.
The junction table will have a maximum height not exceeding 75mm.
A copy of the relevant notice and plan, indicating the proposal may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of the Preston City Council, PO Box 10, Town Hall, Lancaster Road, Preston, PR1 2RL and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
