What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit pedestrians proceeding along:

Bedford Way, Rugeley. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB146362505. The Order will come into operation on 2/2/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 6/2/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the meter installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit vehicular traffic from proceeding along:

Hickling Road, Cannock. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB146983447. The Order will come into operation on 3/2/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the defective ironwork repairs, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

Brookhay Ln, Hilliards Cross. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB145274666. The Order will come into operation on 4/2/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 6/2/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the level crossing inspection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Armitage Road, Rugeley. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB145921000. The Order will come into operation on 6/2/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 6/2/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the repair/replacement of manhole frame and cover, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 13/1/26 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic proceeding along:

Park Gate Road, Cannock. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB146427454. The Order will come into operation on 22/1/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 22/1/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole renewal works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 14/1/26 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic proceeding along:

Huntington Terrace Road, Cannock. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm= GB146120724. The Order will come into operation on 22/1/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 22/1/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the repair/replacement of manhole frame and covers which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 15/1/26 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

Wissage Rd, Lichfield. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB146162884. The Order will come into operation on 19/1/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 21/1/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the gas disconnection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 13/1/26 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit pedestrians proceeding along:

Cornwall Court, Rugeley. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB146355776. The Order will come into operation on 19/1/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 23/1/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the meter installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
