What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(ROSE STREET SOUTH LANE) (TEMPORARY ROAD

RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026 – TEMP/26/10

The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate a safe working area for Scottish Power utility works, no person shall drive or cause or permit any vehicle to be driven on Rose St Sth La (east and

south legs between Castle St and South Charlotte St), both sides, from the south kerbline of Rose St, southwards for 25m. There is no available diversion with respect to the closure of Rose St Sth La, where local access will be maintained where practical. The order shall have effect from 19/01/26 to 06/02/26.
