Moor Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Northern Powergrid Works

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

MOOR LANE, MENSTON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of Northern Powergrid works proposed to be executed on or near Moor Lane, Menston intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Moor Lane from its junction with West Winds to a point outside The Lodge.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Moor Lane (unaffected section), Hillings Lane, Bingley Road, Main Street and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 26th of January 2026 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 6th of February 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
