Warwickshire: Brailes, Stourton, Farnborough - Temporary Traffic Orders

What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

C54 CHELMSCOTE ROAD, BRAILES

Order Effect: Road closed between Compton Wynyates and Castle Hill Lane/Brailes Road.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 09.30hrs - 1500 hrs.

Order Commences: 23 January 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 23 January 2026.

Access & Diversion: Castle Hill Lane, B4035 Main Road, Fant Hill, Brailes Road, Barcheston Village Road, A3400, Idlicote Road, Whatcote Road, Green Lane, Tysoe Road, Oxhill Road, Main Street, Epwell Road, Shipston Road, Chelmscote Road and vice versa.

Vehicular access & egress will be maintained where possible and safe to do so for businesses and residents only.

ST DENNIS ROAD, BRAILES

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable works to renew meter.

Order Commences: 22 January 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 26 January 2026.

Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

WHICHFORD ROAD, STOURTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works for water tanker preparations.

Order Commences: 21 January 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 21 January 2026.

Access & Diversion: Whichford Road, Barrats Hill, Main Street, Church Road, Long Compton Road, Harrow Hill, Shipston Road, London Road, Wood Lane, Little Wolford Road, The Close, Church Row, Village Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

C113 MOLLINGTON LANE, FARNBOROUGH

Order Effect: Road closed from D6395 Dassett Road to the County Boundary.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 08.00hrs - 1600 hrs.

Order Commences: 4 February 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 6 February 2026.

Access & Diversion: C113 Dassett Road, B4100 Banbury Road, Village Road, Mollington Lane, March Road, Main Street, The Holloway, A423 Southam Road, Mollington Lane and vice versa.

Vehicular access & egress will be maintained where possible and safe to do so for businesses and residents only. Access/egress to/from Farnborough to be via the A423 whilst works are in progress.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
