TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC147461181: The City of Manchester (Various Streets, Deansgate Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Hardman Street, Byrom Street & Joddrell Street. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Deansgate, Quay Street, Byrom Street with local access maintained. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate a cane for window cleaning and repairs. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 21:00hrs on 27th January 2026 and 06:00hrs on 28th January 2026. The order shall come into operation on 27th January 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Dated:14th January 2026.

MCC147532876: The City of Manchester (Ashdale Drive, Kingsway, & Leafield Avenue, Burnage Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Ashdale Drive, Kingsway, & Leafield Avenue. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Signed Locally. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Carriageway patching repairs. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 26th January 2026 to 30th January 2026. The order shall come into operation on 26th January 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
