THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Carr Lane at Old
Edlington in the City of Doncaster District as described in the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst carriageway works are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Edlington Lane, Edlington Lane
Service Road, Sheffield Road, Sheffield Road East, Doncaster
Road, Clifton Hill.

to carry out in or near the said road have been completed,

Location
Carr Lane, Old Edlington from its junction with Edlington Lane to
its junction with Denbrook Lane.
Dates and Times
On or after 09:30hrs 26th January 2026 until 15:30hrs 31st
March 2026.
The road to be closed on a maximum of 5 occasions, each
occasion lasting no longer than 3 days, working between
09:30hrs and 15:30hrs only.
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although all
closures to be completed by the 30th April 2026.

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Wordsworth Avenue
at Balby in the City of Doncaster District as described in the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule.

undertaken.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the roads and the effect will be to
prohibit any vehicle from proceeding or making the left turn
manoeuvre in those lengths of Carr House Road and Danum
Road at Hyde Park in the City of Doncaster District as described
in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to
in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to replace a manhole cover are
undertaken

Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle/pedestrian from proceeding in that length of
Doncaster Road at High Melton in the City of Doncaster District

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Moffat Gardens at
Clay Lane in the City of Doncaster District as described in the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to topping off of rain garden are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order. Those residents and businesses directly
affected by the works will be notified of the scheme and access
arrangements.

PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY
THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the bridleway and the effect will be to
prohibit any vehicular traffic from proceeding in that length of
Bridleway No. 37 Hatfield in the City of Doncaster District as
described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times
referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to excavate to install approx. 300m
telecoms duct to link into existing telecoms apparatus as part of
larger fibre to the home scheme are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for
vehicular traffic affected by the Order. Those residents and
businesses directly affected by the works will be notified of the
scheme and access arrangements. Carriageway plates are to be
utilised to maintain access for residents.

direction.

The bridleway will reopen each evening
