NOTICE OF MODIFICATION
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(COPP LANE AREA, ELSWICK AND GREAT ECCLESTON, FYLDE AND WYRE BOROUGHS) (REVOCATION, 20MPH AND 40MPH SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 202*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council proposed to make the above Speed Limit Order under Sections 82(2), 83(2) and 84 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. Following consultation carried out between 02 April 2025 and 01 May 2025, it is now intended to modify the proposed Order as titled above, as set out below.

Replace Item b) of Schedule 3 - 40mph Speed Limit with the length below.
b) Copp Lane, Great Eccleston, from its junction with Copp Lane, Elswick for a distance of 381 metres in a northerly direction.

A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Wyre Borough Council, Civic Centre, Breck Road, Poulton-le-Fylde, FY6 7PU, and at the offices of Fylde Borough Council, Town Hall, Lytham St Annes, FY8 1LW, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
