Green Lane - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
GREEN LANE, STONY HOUGHTON
WHEN: 02 February to 23 February 2026
WHERE: Green Lane, Stony Houghton between its Jct. with the B6417 Rotherham Road to its Jct. with the A617 Mansfield Road.
REASON: To facilitate gas main renewal works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6417 Rotherham Road, Pleasley Interchange, A617 Chesterfield Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
