TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 (AS AMENDED)
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY (STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAYS) (SELBY ROAD) ORDER 2025
The LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an order under Section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of following public highway at the Selby Centre, 1 Selby Road, Tottenham London N17 8JL which is shown coloured orange on the plan attached to the draft order:
“an area of highway at the end of Selby Road (grid reference 533121 E 191594 N) and comprising a maximum length of 15.80 metres and a maximum width of 18.40 metres”.
IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised to enable the development described in the Schedule to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the above Act on 1 September 2025 with planning reference HGY/2024/2851.
COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND THE RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED FREE OF CHARGE during the 28 days commencing on 14 January 2026 at the Council’s offices at ground floor reception Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, London N22 7TR between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays and public holidays (Mob. 07902 582904) or by requesting a copy of the order and map via e-mail Simone.Gomis@haringey.gov.uk (quoting reference Selby Road SUO 2025).
ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed order within 28 days commencing on 14 January 2026 by written notice/e-mail to the Housing Delivery Project Manager, 5th Floor, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, London N22 7TR or via e-mail Simone.Gomis@haringey.gov.uk (quoting reference Selby Road SUO 2025).
In preparing any objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.

THE SCHEDULE
Demolition of all existing buildings comprising Selby Centre and the erection of four buildings. New buildings to comprise of residential accommodation (Use Class C3); and ancillary commercial accommodation (Use Class E (a), (b), & (g)). With car and cycle parking; new vehicle, pedestrian, and cycle routes; new public, communal, and private amenity space and landscaping; and all associated plant and servicing infrastructure.
