NFDC Fees Notice
To be placed in the Lymington Times for one night only on 16 January 2026 (and on the newspaper website)
| NOTICE IS GIVEN that, in accordance with section 70 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, the Council intends to set the fees in respect of Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing as below. | ||

| Vehicle Inspection fee | £60.00 | £63.00 |
| Driver knowledge test | £50.00 | £60.00 |
| Driver licence (new or renewal- 3year licence) | £162.00 | £172.00 |
| Private hire operator licence (new or renewal- 5year licence) | £520.00 | £533.00 |
| Executive vehicle exemption (includes vehicle plate) | £55.00 | £58.00 |
| Vehicle stepped plate | £30.00 | £32.00 |
Any objections to the proposed charges must be made in writing to Christa Ferguson, Licensing Manager, Licensing Services, Appletree Court, Beaulieu Road, Lyndhurst, SO43 7PA or emailed to licensing@nfdc.gov.uk
Any objections must be made within 28 days of the date of publication of this notice (that being midnight on 12 February 2026).
If no written objections are received, or if objections are withdrawn, the new charges shall come into operation on 1 April 2026.
