SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C611 WARREN ROAD, HERRINGSWELL

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C611 Warren Road, Herringswell at the junction with Dane Hill Road for 630 metres south eastbound to facilitate spine civil works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Dane Hill Road, Church Lane, the B1085, the B1506, Herringswell Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 12/01/2026 - 27/01/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6036 KING STREET, MILDENHALL

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U6036 King Street, Mildenhall at the junction with Market Place for 30 metres southbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be King Street, St Andrews Street, the B1102, the A1101, King Street and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 11/01/2026 from 7am ñ 6pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF BOAT 6, LITTLE WRATTING

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing BOAT 6, Little Wratting from 526 metres northeast of the junction with footpath 45 for 576 metres north eastbound to facilitate repairs to water pipes. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 12/01/2026 - 20/02/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6112 ST DOMINICS DRIVE, BRANDON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U6112 St Dominics Drive, Brandon from 20 metres north of the junction with the B1107 for 110 metres northbound to facilitate linking telecommunication boxes for spine cabling works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

It is intended that the closure will operate from 12/01/2026 - 19/01/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

      This is to facilitate the installation of a fibre network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

It is intended that the closures will operate from:

    1. 12/01/2026 to 26/01/2026

  1. 27/01/2026 to 10/02/2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON PART OF THE U5012 STEVENSON ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5012 Stevenson Road, Ipswich from London Road for 40 metres southbound to facilitate a gas main replacement scheme. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be London Road, Handford Road, Burlington Road and vice versa.

For the duration of this closure there will also be a suspension of the one-way provision on the U5012 Stevenson Road, Ipswich from Dilwyn Street West to London Road to allow access and egress.

It is intended that these measures will operate from 12/01/2026 - 21/01/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
