What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(WAITE ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Waite Road at its junction with Dilloways Lane.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 14th January 2026 until 16th January 2026.
The diversion route is: Moseley Road, Dilloways Lane and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate a marker post being installed by Severn Trent Water.
