NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(VICTORIA STREET, WHEELTON, CHORLEY BOROUGH) (REVOCATION AND PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 202*
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the following:
a) The "Lancashire County Council (Various Roads (Various Locations), Chorley, Chorley Borough) (Part Revocation, Prohibition of Waiting, Prohibition of Loading/Unloading) Order 2012" insofar as it relates to Item 11. of Schedule 2.
b) The "Lancashire County Council (Blackburn Road, Kenyon Lane, Millbrook Close and Victoria Street, Heapey and Wheelton, Chorley Borough) (Part Revocation and Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2010" insofar as it relates to Items e) and j) of Schedule 2.
2. Introduce a prohibition of waiting in the following lengths of road:
a) Victoria Street, Wheelton, the north and north east side, from its junction with the centreline of Blackburn Road (U7082) to a point 5 metres west of its junction with the centreline of Millbrook Close;
b) Victoria Street, Wheelton, the south side, from its junction with the centreline of Blackburn New Road (A674) to its junction with the centreline of Millbrook Close.
A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Chorley Borough Council, Town Hall, Market Street, Chorley, PR7 1DP and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
