What is happening?

CITY OF PORTSMOUTH
APPOINTMENT OF HACKNEY CARRIAGE STAND
SECTION 63, LOCAL GOVERNMENT
(MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT 1976

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council intends to appoint a new stand for 4 taxis on the southside, west of Duncan Road, outside (No's 48-52 Albert Road, Southsea). The proposed stand will be available 24 hours a day. The appointed rank will be as a temporary measure due to the existing rank being closed for repairs to the Kings Theatre.
Notice is further given that when the works are completed at the Kings Theatre, that the temporary rank be revoked and reverted back to the original taxi rank outside the Kings Theatre, southside, east of Exmouth Road, outside (No's 24-30 Albert Road, Southsea).
Any person wishing to make representations may do so, in writing, to the Licensing Manager, Licensing Service, Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, Portsmouth, PO1 2AL within 28 days of the publication date of this notice. Email representations may also be made to:

licensing@portsmouthcc.gov.uk

Representations received are liable to be made available for public inspection in accordance with provisions contained in the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.
