Himley Road - Temporary One-Way Restriction
What is happening?
DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Orders,
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary One-Way Restriction) (Himley Road, Dudley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in an westbound direction on Himley Road, Dudley (from Five Ways Junction to Milking Bank junction, for the purpose of carriageway resurfacing works being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 28.01.2026 and will remain in force until 06.02.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Westbound traffic will be diverted via: Milking Bank, Dibdale Road, Highland Road, Burton Road, Jews Lane, Robert Street, Church Street, Temple Street, Zoar Street, Abbey Road, and Bull Street.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Corrin Grove, Wall Heath) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Corrin Grove, Wall Heath, for the purpose of gas main replacement being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on
26.01.2026 and will remain in force until 13.02.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. No diversion route is required. Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
