NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Coombend, Radstock from a point outside property number 19 extending north west to a point outside property number 23. USRN: 47903366.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to lay mains and multiple services – Customer request from the 13th January 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months.
The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for FOUR DAYS.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a:
• road closure in that length of Avondale Road, Newbridge, Bath from its junction with Avondale Court extending south to its junction with Locksbrook Road/Brassmill Lane. USRN: 47900085.
• suspension of the one-way restriction in that length of Avondale Road, Newbridge, Bath from its junction with Osborne Road extending south to its junction with Avondale Court, to allow two-way traffic.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to lay a new service to a property – Customer request from the 12th January 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for FIVE DAYS.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to disconnect gas service – Customer request from the 24th January 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months.

• a suspension of the one-way restriction in that length of Palace Yard Mews, City Centre, Bath from its junction with St Paul’s Place extending north to a point outside 9 Palace Yard Mews, to allow two-way traffic. Traffic will need to enter/exit Palace Yard Mews via its junction with St Paul’s Place, whilst the closure is in place.
• a one-way restriction in that length of A4 Queen Square Place/Charlotte Street/Upper Bristol Road, City Centre, Bath from its junction with A4 Queen Square extending west to its junction with Little Stanhope Street. Traffic will only be able to travel in a westerly direction coming from Queen Square. Traffic travelling in an easterly direction will need to follow the diversion via Little Stanhope Street. • a no left-hand turn restriction will be introduced in that length of Access to Charlotte Street Car Park, City Centre Bath. Traffic exiting the car park onto A4 Charlotte Street will need to turn right and follow the diversion.
• a no right-hand turn restriction will be introduced in that length of Monmouth Place at its junction with A4 Upper Bristol Road. Traffic will only be able to turn left onto A4 Upper Bristol Road.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bath & North East Somerset Council to carry out footway improvement works from the 19th January 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for TEN WEEKS.
