PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(NEWMAN AVENUE) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Newman Avenue from outside property 78 to outside Lanesfield Primary School.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 10 January 2026 until 11 January 2026.
Access/Egress to be maintained.
The Order is required to facilitate new customer connection by City Fibre.
