Planetary Road - Temporary Road Closure

PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(PLANETARY ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Planetary Road, Wolverhampton, 173m west of its junction with Fernside Road, outside Selwood Pumping Solutions.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 10th January 2026 until 11th January 2026.
The diversion route is: Neachells Lane, Wednesfield Way and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the renewal of a new water main by Severn Trent Water.
