Frogmore Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Frogmore Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.11) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 12th January 2026 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
FROGMORE ROAD
From outside No.8 Frogmore Road to outside No.22 Frogmore Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate gas works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 12th January 2026 to 16th January 2026 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Carisbrooke Road, Ruskin Road, Goldsmith Avenue.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
