(MILLOW, DUNTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Millow, Dunton outside Lodge Farm.
This temporary closure is required to enable a fire hydrant repair to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 3 to 5 February 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via High St, Ashwell Rd, West End, Lucas Lane, Station Rd, Northfield Rd, Cambridge Rd, High St, Biggleswade Rd.
The Order will come into operation on 3 February 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(STATION ROAD, TEMPSFORD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Station Road, Tempsford for 20m either side of the level crossing.
This temporary closure is required to enable level crossing rerail works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 6am on 7 February until 6pm on 8 February 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
There is no alternative route for this closure. The Order will come into operation on 7 February 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of High Street, Southill outside number 40.
This temporary closure is required to enable new connection works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 3 to 5 February 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Stanford Rd, ZUC 152, ZUC 151 and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 3 February 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Everton Road, Tempsford and Everton Hill, Everton 20 metres either side of the level crossing.
This temporary closure is required to enable barrier replacement works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place on 1 February 2026 between the hours of 07001900. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Tempsford Road, Sandy Road, Everton Road, Swaden, High
Street, Bedford Road, Great North Road, Blunham Lane, C54 from Blunham Lane to Station Road, Church Street and Everton Road.
The Order will come into operation on 1 February 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Stockbridge Road, Clifton outside number 1.
This temporary closure is required to enable new connection work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 19 to 21 January. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Brickle Place, Newis Crescent, Broad St, Church St and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 19 January 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Sunderland Road, Sandy from jct with Faynes Court to jct with Bedford Road.
This temporary closure is required to enable gas mains replacement works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be
indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 19 January to 6 February 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Sunderland Rd, A1, Bedford Rd and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 19 January 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
